The Rip Rawers Videos

From the band's inception in 1995, it has undergone several changes in line-up but one thing has remained constant through every transition - the Rip Rawers has always been one of the finest Country/Rock bands in Australia and it still is!  As a tribute to the members of the band, both past and present, the chronological history of the Rip Rawers is laid out below in order to recognise the contribution and considerable talent each one of them has brought to the line-up during his membership.

In The Northern Suburbs Of Melbourne, During The Early Part Of the Closing Overs Of The Twentieth Century, 2 Boys From West Heidelberg Who Grew Up 20 Houses From Each Other......... Were Introduced By A Feller From Numurkah, In Northern Victoria, Some 300 Kilometres away... With A Common Love For Country Music, Rock And Roll And West Heidelberg, They Gathered A Lad From Richmond And Ran Unhindered Through The Melbourne Country Music Scene In The Nineties.

The Loudest, Fattest Country Band Melbourne Ever Saw! Soon We Were Working All Over The State (In Fact I Think Geoffrey And I Did More Miles In The Blakeleys Truck Than His Dad Did When He Worked For Blakeleys Knives) Well, 20 Years Down The Track With A Few More Miles Under Our Belt, We Are Back......Still Ripped And Still Rawin..........
